The weather really has changed, and the leaves have dropped from the trees. Infact, over the last
month, everything has changed for me, we have moved house, and so my workspace has had to move.
As a temporary arrangement I have left my well lit, spacious lovely studio filled with all manner of artistic
inspiration, for an airy shed. I seem to be sharing it with a family of mice, which is lovely, apart from the fact they have discovered the bean bags/wheat bags I use to support unusual shaped pieces as I paint...
Fingers crossed before this time next year I will have a more suitable arrangement!
I have had two wonderful visits from galleries this month. Mitchell Arts who have a pop up in November (24th-26th) at the Birches Barn, Hampton Manor, I shall do an instagram post with the times, and The Fletchergate Gallery in Nottingham.
Now, back to the painting, and although I complain about the cold and draughts, I have been praying all week, that all the artists in Australia that I know from Instagram are safe and have not lost anything to the horrendous fires.
